Chapter 12 They were scared, more scared than they had been ever before. Then there came an evil laugh followed by an ear piercing scream. The hairs on the back of their heads stood on end when suddenly they heard a loud crash from the TV. They all looked around, it was pitch black, a creepy smile flashed on the screen... , then it was gone. Bella screamed and then looked very faint as if she had seen a horrible ghost. After that the lights went out and the TV completely turned off. The only light was from the flashes from the lightning covering the room with a deep yellow colour. They were all as scared as ever now wanting to run as far as they could away from this haunted and horrific place, but each of them felt like there feet were glued to the ground, completly scared to there souls. They could barely see each other but when the light caught there face they each saw the frightened and scared faces. At least it couldnt get any worse, they thought.
