The autumn breeze whistled softly through the trees as Bella helped Sam out of the black saloon. There they stood on the little street looking over the remains of what was Justin’s little house. A single tear ran slowly down Bella’s face. A shell. An empty charred shell was all that was left of the house. As they stood the ash danced across the sky in the wind. It settled on Bella’s long brown hair, giving her a ghostly appearance. "Why us, Why Justin" whispered Sam from behind his cracked and dirty glasses. He rolled forward on his wheelchair, there was a crunch as he ran overon something. A glance down confirmed his thoughts. One of the bowls that they had eaten out of earlier that week. A lump formed in his throught as he noticed the mud brown stain of Justin’s blood streaked across the floor. Even the blazing inferno and the water of the fireman’s hoses hadn’t been enough to wash it away. "Bella," Sam called, "don't come in here." There was a muffled reply from Bella. She walked in her eyes wet with more tears. "Look what I found," she whispered, opening her hand to reveal a small charred note. "Can you read it out?" Sam gently took the note out of Bella’s shaking hands, adjusted his glasses and read.

"I have already taken two of you away,
By the time you have finished mourning,
All of you shall have gone..."

There was a sob from Bella.
"Come on Bella, let’s go" mumbled Sam, "I've got to pick up my suit for the funeral.
"As they stepped into the car a single ember floated down onto the note. And once again rose flames from the ground........
